Monday, September 9, 2024, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.: STHS will hold its monthly meeting at the Township Offices, Room 210 (main floor), One Illinois Blvd., Hoffman Estates, IL.
Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon: STHS will host a general council meeting for N.E.I.L (Northeastern Illinois Historical Council) at the historic Schaumburg Center School.
Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.: Back by popular demand, the historic sites bus tour,
Barns: Then and Now, will leave promptly at 1 p.m. from the Schaumburg Township Offices, One Illinois Blvd., Hoffman Estates, IL. The tour will include five historic barns in Schaumburg Township. You must register in advance for this event using this link https://www.Eventbrite.com. Search for Schamburg Township Historical Bus Tour 2024. The cost of this event is $25, payable by credit card online. Tickets are going fast.
Plan to arrive by 12:45 pm to sign in. The last stop is the 1856 Sunderlage House, where light refreshments will be served. The bus will then return to the Schaumburg Township Offices at 3 pm.
